Child Care Resource Connection
(CCRC)
The CAPSLO Child Care Resource Connection (CCRC) was established in 1978 as a result
of State Assembly Bill 3059 which provided the San Luis Obispo County Community Action Partnership the opportunity to contract with the State Department
of Education's Office of Child Development. State, Federal and local funding
allows CCRC to provide a variety of child care services.
Our fundamental belief is that childhood is rich with possibilities
and through our services we endeavor to provide opportunities that
enhance this time. By encouraging cooperation and collaboration within
the child care community, we can help direct the future of affordable
quality child care in San Luis Obispo County.
Current Child Care Budget News
The Governor signed a State Budget September 23rd. The California Department of Education reports that the CDE Accounting office will be sending the State Controller's Office the pay run that includes payment through October of $560 million dollars. Child Care will be on the priority list. As soon as contract funds are received by CAPSLO, eligible child care services will be paid for those who have submitted completed Attendance Records. As more information becomes available we will share it with you.
