Weatherization Services

Free home weatherization through Southern California Gas Company and PG&E's low-income weatherization programs designed to lower utility bills and increase comfort. Weatherization services include attic insulation, door weatherstripping, water heater blankets, water saving devices and related minor home repairs. CAPSLO crews also perform carbon monoxide testing of gas appliances and furnaces and make repairs to correct any hazardous conditions they discover. Related minor home repairs can include replacement of doors and windows, minor carpentry and minor plumbing repairs. All services are provided at no cost to homeowners and renters.
