Come join the Health Services Division’s QuestBound Leadership Youth Development Program on April 13th, from 5:00-7:00pm at the Nipomo Branch Library, as we host a Nipomo Chamber of Commerce Social Mixer and premier the photo-journal exhibit, "Awakening the Leader Within." The exhibit documents QuestBound’s service learning projects in the Cesar Chavez Native Garden and illustrates the vital external and internal assets infused through QuestBound’s outdoor programming. Guests will be treated to free food provided by the Rock Seafood and Grill, live musical entertainment, youth testimonials, and presentations from local community leaders (Supervisor Paul Teixeira has made a commitment to attend). The event is held in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Greater Nipomo, South County Youth Coalition, Dana Adobe Amigos, and Nipomo Chamber of Commerce. This is an extremely important time to generate conversations and find solutions for sustaining youth programs, assuring community safety, organizing leadership, and including the business community of Nipomo in opportunities for positive youth development.
