In Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

• Every 13 minutes a woman dies of breast cancer.
• Breast cancer is the leading cancer among American women.
• Breast cancer risk increases with age and every woman is at risk.
• Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Hispanic/Latina women.
• Mammograms are the best and most widely available cancer screening tool. They can detect about 85% of all breast cancer.

Make an appointment for Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM for a clinical breast exam at Community Action Partnership’s Clinic. During this appointment, you will receive a referral for a free screening mammogram at the Women’s Diagnostic Center at French Hospital Medical Center.
