Community Action Partnership is committed to helping those most in need in our region.  There is little doubt that among those who suffer most are mentally ill persons who find themselves homeless and without support.  This is why we are steadfast in our commitment to our homeless programs at Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter, the Prado Day Center as well as those homeless agencies with whom we partner throughout San Luis Obispo County.  The following article which appeared in the San Luis Obispo Tribune speaks to the plight of our homeless neighbors and to the dedication of our Homeless Services staff to bring comfort and healing to those whom society has left behind.
