CAA Organizational Standards: Consumer Input and Involvement

Community Action is rooted in the belief that people with low incomes are in the best position to express what they need to make a difference in their lives. By seeking and incorporating customer input we position our agencies to be nimble and responsive to changes in our communities. The proposed Organizational Standards (which will be mandatory for all CSBG-funded agencies) include the critical elements of customer input/involvement and community engagement. This training provides resources to assist CSBG-eligible entities in meeting these Standards and includes concrete examples and tools from Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo, CA, as well as a case study on the impact of customer input.
