Assistance for License Exempt Child Care Providers

We assist license exempt child care providers with training to help provide quality care to young children. Technical assistance, training, and support to become licensed are available upon request.

According to the Health and Safety Code Section 1596.792 - Any family day care home providing care for the children of only one family in addition to the operator’s own children are legally license exempt.

Please contact Kellie Gin at kgin@capslo.org or (888)727-2272 for more information.
